One visa. Two ways to live it.
The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) has opened Thailand to remote workers and to people who want to learn something deeply Thai — cooking, Muay Thai, and other cultural arts. Most websites cover either the visa paperwork or the experiences. DTV Thai connects both sides: a clear DTV guide, plus ranked cooking class guides and Muay Thai gym guides for six Thai cities, and dedicated pages on how cooking classes and Muay Thai training relate to the DTV soft-power route.
02 · How we rank
Real review data, published honestly
Our city guides are built from Google Maps rating and review data collected in September 2026. We rank by rating first, then review volume, and apply a minimum review threshold so every listing reflects meaningful, sustained feedback rather than a handful of early five-star scores. Non-school and non-gym businesses are filtered out by category.
Where a city does not have enough genuinely high-rated providers to fill a list — as with cooking classes in Pattaya — we publish the honest shortlist instead of padding it. Every guide states its data-collection date, and ratings change over time, so we recommend checking each provider's listing before booking.

Independent, labeled, correctable
We are not affiliated with the Thai government, any embassy, the Immigration Bureau, or any school, gym or agent listed on this site.
We never promise visa approval. Visa decisions belong solely to the relevant Thai authorities.
